The Dianic denomination of the Wiccan Religion is a Goddess and woman-centered, earth-based and feminist tradition inspired by Zsuzsanna Budapest in the early 1970's and developed by Ruth Barrett.  The Temple continues to evolve through the work of Ruth Barrett and Falcon River at the Temple of Diana.

Our practices are based on the Women's Mystery tradition, which honors and witnesses the physical, emotional and other life cycle passages women share by having been born with a female body. We celebrate the mythic cycle of the Goddess in the earth's seasonal cycles of birth, death and regeneration, as it corresponds to women's own life cycle transitions.

As an active feminist organization, the Daughters of the Silver Crescent/Temple of Diana, Inc. aims to provide education, service and rituals that understand, deconstruct and heal from patriarchy.
