Six monthly Sessions cover the following topics:

Introduction to Dianic Witchcraft

This session focuses on the feminist mission of the Dianic religion, the cosmology of this Goddess centered and woman centered religion, and explores the faces of the Goddess in the seasons and the phases of women’s lives. We experience the power of the self-blessing as a connection with Goddess within and without.

Working with the Elemental Teachers

This session works with the elements in several ways to bring them into our consciousness and our being, while acknowledging their power. We work with elemental altars as one way to establish a partnership with them, and work as small groups to begin to establish partnerships with each other as well. We develop and enact elemental invocations with energetic support from our sisters.

Creating Sacred Space: energy, purification and partnership

This session introduces the concepts of the energetic body and the magickal circle. Using experiences that draw on our work with the elements, we learn to find energetic edges of ourselves and other beings, to energetically prepare the sacred within and without, and to work in partnership with the elements and each other to create sacred spaces.

Components of ritual and spell work: Intention, Ethics and the Will of the Goddess

This session introduces the concepts of intention and will. We will work on strategies to discover true need, and to formulate that need into an intention for ritual or spell work. We explore how the elements, Goddess and other supportive women can help us to manifest our needs in the form of rituals.

In this session, we also examine the ethical issues and magickal laws related to intention, will, ritual and magick, including the wiccan rede, the threefold law, and the witches pyrimid.

Components of ritual and spell work: Small group ritual

This session uses our elemental, intention and energetic work to create and enact a simple group ritual.

Worshipping together: Development of seasonal rituals

This session focuses on the Goddess in her seasonal aspect, and the group works together to develop a ritual appropriate for the season. This ritual work will serve as the basis for the public ritual for that season, and women will have to opportunity to serve at that ritual.

Class size is limited to 13 women. For more locations, schedules and additional information, please contact admin@thesilvercrescent.org.
